Judith Black

Judith Black has been a partner since 2000.  She specialises in residential, agricultural and commercial conveyancing.  Judith manages an extensive private client workload to include wills, probate, administration of estates, inheritance tax advice and estate planning.

Fiona McCaffrey

Fiona has practiced law in the firm since 1997, becoming a partner in 2007.

She spent the first 20 years specializing in Civil Litigation with an emphasis on defence work.

She has now diversified and developed her practice into the area of Wills and Administration of Estates with particular interest in Elderly Clients and Future Planning matters within the firm, to include providing advice on Enduring Powers of Attorney and Controllership Applications.

Fiona continues to maintain a keen interest in areas of private practice including personal injury and employment law.

Keith Burrows

Keith Burrows joined the firm in 1988 and became a partner the following year.  He works mainly in the areas of residential, agricultural and commercial conveyancing, acting on behalf of private individuals, property developers and larger corporate bodies.  His work and advice focus on the close working relationship with clients. When not in the office he enjoys walking on the North Coast and visiting family overseas.

Howard McLean

Howard McLean has been with the firm for more than 35 years.  Experience in complex personal injury / commercial litigation for both plaintiff and defendant; corporate manslaughter.  Longstanding interest with NI farming and food processing entities and broad general private client experience.  More recently has advised on small family business sales, acquisitions.  Other interests include School Governance, Church and Charitable Trusts.

Gary Fitzpatrick

Gary jointed Millar Shearer & Black in 1999. Expertise in broad range of contentious work including personal injury, Will and property disputes, high value complex commercial including building contract litigation and debt recovery. Experienced in both County Court and High Court acting for both claimants and defendants.

A keen sportsman in his younger days, he played football competitively in the Irish League for many years. He now plays golf (badly) in his free time.

Judith McClure

 Judith graduated with a degree in Scots Law, being admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Scotland in 1995.  She practiced in Edinburgh before joining Millar Shearer & Black in 2010.  Judith has extensive experience in child law, both in private and public law proceedings.  As an experienced advocate she advises on all aspects of matrimonial and family law.
